Urban Dictionary refers to the term “Wanderlust” as:
“A very strong or irresistible impulse to travel or a strong longing for / impulse toward wandering”.
I mean, who doesn’t like a holiday? The opportunity to travel around new unexplored territory, to temporarily leave all responsibilities and commitments at the departures gate, and the chance to start-a-fresh on a blank slate for a while; just you and your new destination.
In July / August of this year I took a holiday to a section of the stunning Adriatic Coast where I had the pleasure of exploring various parts of both Croatia and Montenegro. The Adriatic Sea is a sea inlet located in Southern Europe, offering its beauty to the east side of Italy, and the west side of Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Montenegro and Albania.
This trip really flattened any preconceptions I may have had or may have been subconsciously exposed to in relation to “Eastern European” countries, and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
